Common questions

Why does Clocked need an account?

Your timesheet is a record of your hours and your pay, and it has to survive losing or replacing a phone. Clocked keeps it in an account so it does, and so it shows up on a second device. Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. Nothing beyond an email is required.

What does Clocked Pro cost?

7 days free, then $39.99 a year or $4.99 a month. It adds two things: automatic clock in/out, and more than one job. Everything else stays free.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from Profile → Clocked Pro → Manage Subscription in the app, or from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. You keep Pro until the period you already paid for ends.

Does Clocked track my location in the background?

Only if you turn on automatic clock in for a workplace you saved. Detection is geofencing. iOS tells the app about a boundary crossing, not the other way around. No location history is ever kept, and no coordinate is sent anywhere except the workplaces you saved yourself.

What is the Break Room?

A shared, anonymous board inside the app. Posts are signed with your hourly rate, never your name or employer. It's entirely optional, and your timesheet stays private either way.

Can I export my timesheet?

Yes, as a CSV, from Profile → Export Timesheet. Free, no limit.

I paid but Pro isn’t showing up

Open the paywall (Profile → Try Clocked Pro) and tap Restore in the top right. That asks the App Store what your Apple Account owns. If it still doesn’t appear, write to us with the Apple Account you bought it on.

Automatic clock in isn’t working

It needs location permission set to Always. iOS asks twice, and “While Using the App” is not enough, because the arrival that matters happens with your phone in your pocket. Check Settings → Clocked → Location. Then check that the workplace has Auto Clock In switched on in Profile → Work Locations, and that any working-hours rule on it covers the time you actually arrive.

Something in the Break Room needs taking down

Tap the ··· on the post or reply and choose Report. It disappears from your view immediately. You can block the account from the same menu, and undo that later in Break Room → Your Standing. If you cannot reach it in the app, write to the address above.
